Our office is staffed Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30. The 24/7 Out-of-Hours line is monitored every evening, weekend and bank holiday for urgent placements.

How quickly do you respond to a Local Authority enquiry?

We respond to every Local Authority enquiry within one working day. Urgent and Out-of-Hours requests are answered immediately on the OOH line.

When should I call the Out-of-Hours number?

Use the Out-of-Hours line for any same-evening, overnight, weekend or bank holiday placement, and for any safeguarding incident in progress that needs an immediate response.

What is the fastest way to commission a job?

Submit a referral via the secure online form on the Commission ABS page. Routine and same-day enquiries are accepted there; urgent overnight work should be phoned through to the OOH line in parallel.
